In week 2 we learned about the DISC profile. This was a personality driven test in order to see what we out of four categories. These included Dominant, Influential, Compliant and Steady. I managed to get Influential as I would be an ideas person and very interactive in pre production situations. We began to discuss how to use this new information and found that some Profiles wouldn't find it as easy to work with some people than others. This meant that we would have to try and identify what DISC profile others were and work in conjunction with their strengths and weaknesses in order to work in harmony.
This is core to working in the industry as its all about relationships and how you can navigate within and create those relationships through behaviour. This lesson was interesting and I really enjoyed learning about the differences in work styles.
We were then shown CV examples and told to bring in a first draft for next week.
