In week 8 we went over the deeper mechanics of our website such as our portfolio, cover letter and showreel. We were shown how to structure our portfolio with our best work front loaded, making sure to show our role and what we brought to the project.
The cover letter is something I need to focus on as we were shown it is what helps get the employer to read your CV.
The showreel is a mini version of your portfolio condensing all your best work and skills into a quick 1-2 minute video. This is to help employers see what you can offer them as an employee.
